  • Agenda

  • Prep Memo

    • A brief message from Dr. Hill - Kevin Fox Gotham’s Race, Real Estate and Uneven Development: The Kansas City Experience, 1900-2010, is the pre-read for the October session. I am asking that you prioritize reading chapters 2, 3 and 5 as well as Gotham’s article (linked below) prior to our convening so that our discussions can be grounded with contextual understanding of how urbanism was orchestrated. Lastly, I have attached a tour pamphlet of the "story of segregation of Kansas City", while this is not the same as the Dividing Lines tour, it offers a historical context for some of the landmarks in Kansas City that we will pass along our bus tour.
